MARATHON VETERANS DAY PARADE GIVES A SALUTE TO SERVICE

A parade of red, white and blue graced the U.S. 1 corridor in Marathon on Veterans Day to honor the selfless service of the men and women in all branches of the United States military. Organized each year by the American Legion Post 154, a team of first responders from the Florida Highway Patrol, Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Key Colony Beach Police Department and Marathon Fire Rescue bookended a procession of veterans atop motorcycles, classic trucks and trailers proudly flying Old Glory.
