Glow-in-the-dark creations lit up the faces of parents and children visiting Stanley Switlik’s student art and STEM night on April 30. The family-friendly evening open house in the school’s media center showcased curriculum for kindergartners and first graders while presenting an art gallery full of pieces from all grade levels at Switlik – including the aptly-named Glow Gallery in the art room. Additional activities promoted learning and discovery in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Photos by ROSS SMITH/Keys Weekly
