Account Managers

Keys Weekly account managers do much more than sales. They are business consultants who work with our partners to develop and assist with marketing plans. A full-time, salaried position with commission and benefits, account managers are responsible for prospecting and securing new business and managing a book of business. Candidates should be proficient with typical office software like Excel and Outlook and able to master Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.  A successful account manager can multi-task, manage multiple deadlines and must be able to communicate effectively with their team members and clients. Currently openings in the Upper Keys and Key West markets. 

Writers

We are constantly seeking freelance writers who can put together a well-organized and thoughtful story based on facts, quotes and research. Although we do our best to adhere to Associated Press (AP) style, we are flexible with writers who exhibit a mastery of the English language. Our writers typically start as freelancers, but we are always on the look-out for our next full time, salaried staff writer. Pay scales are determined by a number of factors including length of article, number of sources, travel time, etc.  Opportunities available throughout the Florida Keys. 

Social Media Manager

We have developed a sensible approach to our digital media platforms and are seeking a Social Media Manager who can enhance our brand and build strong online communities through our various social media platforms and those of our extensive client list. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and administering social media content for both the Keys Weekly Media Group and our partners that is designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship between consumers, our clients and the company. The successful candidate will also be required to collect and review social media data to develop more effective campaigns. A full time, salaried position awaits the right candidate who could be based out of any of our three, Florida Keys offices.

Production/Office Manager

The Keys Weekly team member must have the following qualifications: character, commitment, conviction, and competence. Our production/office manager embodies these traits as well as being organized, detail-orientated and capable of supporting a number of functions from customer service and accounting to business development, sales and clerical duties. This is a salaried position with regular, full-time office hours in our Key West market.
