A WHALE OF A RUN

Fritz Zeher looks to his son Dalton, 4, before the start of the "Scale the Whale" Whale Harbor Bridge Run. The Zeher family, including Aiden, 9, pictured at bottom, mom, Angela, not pictured,, and daughter, Peyton, 4, not pictured, of Tavernier, won the race's best dressed family.

Some were in running gear. Others were in costumes as they ran, jogged or walked in Chi Sigma sorority’s third annual “Scale the Whale” Bridge Run on Feb. 8. From Postcard Inn, participants trekked across the tiny bridge, carried and ate a donut and went back over to the finish line. Funds raised by the event go toward scholarships for graduating Coral Shores seniors.
