Synonymous with the California lifestyle and beloved by fans around the world, the Beach Boys will bring their “Sounds of Summer” Tour to Coffee Butler Amphitheater on Saturday, March 29. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for an 8 p.m. performance.
Since co-founder, lead singer and chief lyricist Mike Love wrote the lyrics to the band’s first hit, “Surfin’” in 1961, dozens of the Beach Boys’ chart-topping songs have become anthems of American youth. Audiences can expect classics including “Surfin’ U.S.A.,” “Surfer Girl,” “Fun, Fun, Fun,” “I Get Around,” “California Girls,” “Help Me, Rhonda,” “Barbara Ann,” “Good Vibrations,” “Wouldn’t It Be Nice,” “Rock and Roll Music” and “Kokomo.”
With over 100 million records sold worldwide, the Beach Boys have earned more than 33 RIAA platinum and gold record awards. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers were also honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2001 Grammy Awards. With more than five decades of touring under their belts, the Beach Boys have performed more concerts than any major rock band in history.
The Beach Boys are led by Love — Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Grammy winner, New York Times best-selling author and 2025 Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee — alongside longtime member Bruce Johnston. Together with musical director Brian Eichenberger, Christian Love, Tim Bonhomme, Jon Bolton, Keith Hubacher, Randy Leago and John Wedemeyer, the band continues to honor and carry forward the legacy of one of America’s most influential musical groups.
Adding to the significance of this tour, 2026 marks the celebration of 250 years of the United States, while also saluting the 60th anniversary of the landmark album Pet Sounds — a milestone that continues to influence generations of artists and fans.
