Martin’s Oktoberfest this Sunday
This Sunday Martin’s on Duval presents German beer, food and the award winning band, D’Weidler Musi for their inaugural Okotoberfest.
“It was funny,” said Martin Busam. “I got an email three months ago from this band who was playing in West Palm Beach. They just looked for German owned and operated space in the Keys. I said, Hey…that sounds good. Let’s do it. Its possible to do it in June – not possible in Germany.”
Martin and his brother, Fritz, hail from the German town of Lautenbach and are preparing a German smorgasbord for Sunday including wienerschnitzel and other sausages, roasted chicken, main lobster, duck breast sauerkraut, red cabbage and deserts like apple strudel, classic crème brulee, and Belgian chocolate mouse.
There will also be plenty of beer. Lots of beer – German and domestic served in custom beer steins. Beginning at 7 pm Martin’s will be serving 16 ounces of Spaten for only $5, so bring a guest and come to the fest!
