Families and first responders filled the Founders Park lawn for National Night Out on Aug. 6. Capt. Corey Bryan and Lt. Michael DiGiovanni of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office were busy greeting the community as families checked out table displays, vehicles, boats and more. Joining the Sheriff’s Office were the Florida Highway Patrol, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Coast Guard, Islamorada Fire Department and Key Largo Fire Department. Various organizations were also on hand giving out treats. “It’s nice to see such a large turnout from the community who are out enjoying the evening,” Bryan said.
