Frankendread is an accomplished Caribbean performer who brings the islands to his audience through energetic performances that combine calypso, soca and steel pan.
Known for his past inexhaustible performance schedule of corporate events, weddings, private parties, clubs, bars, tiki huts, backyards, cruises, street performances and any other conceivable venue, Frankendread’s mission of presenting island music anytime, anywhere, anyplace has served him well.
FrankenDread’s career in music started in 1989 as a touring reggae drummer, lead vocalist, keyboardist and bandleader in Atlanta. Since then, his performances have spanned 17 countries and 43 states. During the years 1992, 1993 and 1994, he was named a “Caribbean Vocalist of the Year.”
In 2001, Frankendread added steel pan to his arsenal and in 2002 performed an impressive 403 times in 365 days between Tennessee, Georgia, New York, Canada, New Mexico, Missouri, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan and Illinois.
