Marathon Community Theatre will host open auditions for three of its main-stage productions – “Always a Bridesmaid,” “Nunsense” and “The Siegel” – on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 28 and 29. Auditions will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. on both days for line reading in all three shows, with an additional morning session for singing and dancing from 10 a.m. to noon both days. Anyone auditioning for the musical “Nunsense” must attend at least one line reading session and one vocal/dance session. Previous theater experience is always welcome, but is not required. For those who are interested in the theater but prefer to stay out of the spotlight, there are many additional volunteer opportunities available.
