Rams Head brought Sublime with Rome’s High and Mighty Tour to the Southernmost City on July 23 for an energetic show at the island city’s Key West Coffee Butler Amphitheater.

Fans filled the seats and packed the lawn with chairs and blankets.

The band played some classic Sublime favorites as well as new music from their 2019 album.

California alt rock trio Sublime with Rome formed in 2009 to carry on the legacy of the original ska-punk legends Sublime, whose lead singer Bradley Nowell died of a heroin overdose in 1996.

The new band’s name is a reference to frontman Rome Ramirez. Sublime’s bassist and co-founder Eric Wilson still anchors Sublime with Rome, which has permission to play all Sublime songs.
