A throng of basket-wielding kids took off for a mad dash across the Marathon Community Park fields on April 15 as the City of Marathon Parks and Recreation Department kicked off Easter festivities in the city with an egg hunt. After scouring the park for the prized eggs, kids had a chance to enjoy popcorn from the Marathon Community Church and get a meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny himself ahead of his busiest weekend.
