Parades, parties and other gatherings may be canceled, but not even a pandemic can put a damper on Key West’s holiday spirit. A quick drive throughout the island reveals the efforts that businesses, families and individuals put into their decorations for the delight of others.

The city’s Christmas tree at Bayview Park was lit during a virtual program that was broadcast online, and the virtual menorah lighting at the park will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 13. The Key West Chamber of Commerce is also sponsoring a holiday decoration contest for Key West and Stock Island businesses with $5,000 in prize money up for grabs.
