On Jan. 18, Marathon’s Lady Fins captured first place in a county basketball tournament at the Basilica of St. Mary Star of the Sea in Key West. The middle school team is currently undefeated at 8-0. Coached by Tom and Fred Junker, the team is managed by Jamie Torna and Marisol Diaz and includes Payton Junker, Caylie Globe, Martiyana Kilborne, Elena Ubanks, Justice Lee, Shynell McGuire.
