MARATHON HIGH SCHOOL HOSTS XCOUNTRY MEET

The 5K course passes the beautiful Sombrero Beach in Marathon.

Marathon hosted Key West and Coral Shores in their first home cross country meet of the season. The Lady Fins Rain Banks crossed the finish line blocks ahead of the competition with the top three finishers all Marathon. In the boy’s division Marathon brothers Jonathon and Owen Pitchford placed first and third, with Key West runner Thor Eriksson taking second.
