It’s all about getting “summer ready,” right? As the sun gets hotter and boat days draw near, we feel we have to look our absolute best as these months approach. I want us to shift our perspectives some and switch it up for good instead of getting ready just for summer… How about feeling our best all year long? It all starts with one step forward, making the choice each day to set aside time to better ourselves and take care of the beautiful bodies we have, in whatever size and shape they are.

Feeling our best contributes significantly to how we treat ourselves both mentally and physically. When you wake up and set intentions for each day it helps lead your mind in a positive direction to help you thrive. Let’s create healthy habits for not only summer, but all seasons. 

Whether it’s a hard-core workout or a calm beach yoga flow, all of it is beneficial. Consider moving your workout outside to soak up that sun and get your sweat on.  

Elevate your daily movement with this dumbbell full body workout and easily modify it by removing weights or finding heavier objects around your house if you don’t have equipment. This workout is 4 rounds, 4 moves, 10 reps each and you can shorten or extend it based on how you’re feeling and how much time you have.

Your moves are as follows:

  • 10 bent over rows
  • 10 Russian twists
  • 10 thrusters
  • 10 shoulder taps
