A Key West residence decked out for Fantasy Fest with a dazzling outdoor display inspired by Michael Jackson’s classic hit, “Thriller,” was the local favorite in the Key West Chamber of Commerce Fantasy Façade Competition.
Each year, Key West guesthouses, businesses and private homes compete for cash prizes in the Fantasy Façade Competition, with a panel of judges deciding the winners.
This year, the chamber added a “Community Favorite” award, inviting the public to visit all 22 locations to see the entries and vote online.
The Ramsingh household at 2812 Staples Ave., won the most votes with their towering “Thriller on Staples” display, scoring a gift package provided by chamber members.
The Thriller tribute also won the Chamber’s $500 Best Residence prize from the judges.
