Tom Corcoran is coming to Marathon

Tom Corcoran is coming to Marathon - A man wearing a hat and glasses - Tom Corcoran

As James Hall says, “No one writes about Key West with more authority, lyricism and muscularity than Tom Corcoran.” Corcoran will introduce his latest Alex Rutledge mystery novel, “Guava Moon Revenge” to the Friends of the Marathon Library on Thursday, Jan. 24 at 2 p.m. in the Parish Hall of St. Columba Episcopal Church.

A longtime denizen of Key West, Corcoran now lives in Lakeland, Fla. He is still a friend of Jimmy Buffett, for whom he shot the photographs for seven album covers and co-wrote “Fins” and “Cuban Crime of Passion.”

The meet-and-greet begins at 1:30 p.m., followed by the talk. Admission is free and open to the public.
