On Aug. 6, Marathon residents gathered at the Monroe County Sheriff’s airport hangar (shade!) to mingle with the law enforcement personnel, as well as other agencies representing fire safety, water safety and more. The American Legion staffed the grill, while little kids made excellent use of the cop cars’ loud speakers and sirens.
