The Marathon boys’ varsity basketball team lost to Palmer Trinity in a non-conference game at Marathon High on Jan. 5. “I thought we got off to a really rough start, but after the first quarter, I feel like we settled down and played better,” said Marathon Head Coach Kevin Freeman. “We are going to work hard and hopefully start to play a little better.” Marathon’s next home game is against Colonial Christian at 4 p.m. on Friday Jan. 8.
