Comedy Key West presents standup comedians Chris Pennie on Thursday and Friday, June 7 and 8 and Kelly MacFarland on Thursday and Friday, June 14 and 15 at the Bottlecap in Key West.
MacFarland and Pennie both will be performing with local comics. The shows will begin at 8:30 p.m.
MacFarland has been headlining large clubs and colleges in addition to entertaining U.S. troops overseas. Recently, she was in “Last Comic Standing” Season 9, appeared on AXS “Gotham Comedy LIVE” and won first place in the Ladies of Laughter competition. She also was in Boston Comedy Festival, Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival, Oddball Festival and Boston Calling 2016/17. MacFarland has appeared on TV Guide Channel, Comedy Central, and as host on Scripps Network. She also is an accomplished improviser, musical improviser and comedic actress.
Pennie performs regularly and has been a finalist in CMT’s “Next Big Comic,” The Plymouth Rock Comedy Festival, The Mohegan Sun “Funniest Amateur Comic in New England,” Beantown Comedy Riots, Laughing Skull Festival in Atlanta and The Boston Comedy Festival.
