“Musical Icons and Iconic Musicals,” is this year’s theme for Key West’s annual, 10-day costume extravaganza.
From Oct. 16-25, tens of thousands of attendees will celebrate music, musicians and musicals in style — from “Hamilton” to ’80s hair bands.
Revelers will see — and be — the spectacle, with celebrations including the world-famous Fantasy Fest parade; the Captain Morgan Masquerade March (aka “Locals Parade”) and Paparazzi Row; the Bahamian Goombay Festival; Royal Coronation of the 2026 Fantasy Fest King, Queen and court; the towering Headdress Ball; the family-friendly Pet Masquerade; a mile-long Duval Street fair; plus concerts, pool parties, theater productions and more.
The costume options are endless. Fantasy Fest offers 10 days to celebrate all your favorites. And there are 14 weeks to decide and design the best tributes to “Musical Icons & Iconic Musicals.”
