The 24th Annual Master Chef’s Classic took place last Sunday night at Margaritaville Resort . Thirteen restaurants competed in three categories to be named winners. The event supports the MARC House, which takes care of developmentally disabled adults in the community

The Marathon High School Culinary Team took home second runner up in the dessert category at the annual Key West Master Chef Classic last Sunday against twelve top Key West restaurants. The team, led by Chef Flavor a.k.a. Carl Stanton, showcased their Key Lime Beignets for the recognition. They also prepared and served smoked tuna tacos with a seaweed slaw and avocado pulp for an appetizer, and for an entrée featured a miso glazed pork belly and lobster risotto.
