Plantation Key – A Marathon woman was arrested Thursday, charged with obtaining similar prescriptions from two different doctors.
A pharmacist at Winn-Dixie alerted the two doctors after noticing that 34 year old Tiffany Palazzo was getting similar medications from both physicians. According to detectives from the Special Investigations Division, Palazzo was Amphetamines and Percocet from they both. She’d gotten a total of 594 pills of Amphetamines since December and 795 Percocet pills in the same time period.
A warrant was issued for her arrest and she was charged with doctor shopping. She was booked into jail.
