NO AUDIENCE @ special commission mtg

The Key West City Commission will meet in special session at 5pm Wednesday to discuss coronavirus concerns and the local response. But city officials are encouraging people to participate in the meeting WITHOUT attending in person.  Watch the meeting’s live stream from the city’s website or on television via Comcast’s local government channel.

Mayor Teri Johnston told Keys Weekly early Sunday the meeting’s agenda should be posted online by Monday. She encouraged people to use the city’s e-comment service via the city’s website to submit comments and questions for elected officials.
Johnston emphasized, “every commissioner will review” those comments and questions prior to the meeting.

The city’s website is available at cityofkeywest-fl.gov  To access agendas scroll down on the home page and click “Agendas & Minutes.” E-comment is available once you access the agenda, which, again, is expected to be published on Monday.
