Three members of the command at Coast Guard Station Islamorada are departing for their next station. Members of CG Auxiliary Flotillas 13-4 (Ocean Reef) and 13-8 (Islamorada) presented the three officers with Honorary Conch proclamations from the mayor of Monroe County. From left, officers Jon Harrington, Charles O’Connor and Christopher Vita hold their proclamations as they are surrounded by fellow officers. Harrington, O’Connor and Vita are completing four-year tours at Station Islamorada and have made an incredible contribution to protecting the Florida Keys as well as our country.
