Last week, Kindergarten and first-grade students returned on Tuesday. On Wednesday, it was second and third grades. On Thursday and Friday, respectively, the fourth and fifth-grade students returned to Stanley Switlik Elementary in Marathon.
Stanley Switlik Elementary’s central courtyard features a high atrium with a nifty fan, plus lots of shade and seating.

Part of the campus is brand new, and the rest is newly refurbished. The Keys Weekly recently toured the property after hours with principal Christine Paul and assistant principal Sarah Morton to get a sneak peek for our readers and students who return full time beginning Sept. 14.
