“Kaleidoscope”
Jennifer and Greg Garner
285 14th St., Key Colony Beach

This is an exquisite oceanfront estate with over 5,600 square feet, five bedrooms and five baths, as well as more than 300 feet of waterfront. There are outstanding views from every room. The home allows a truly private lifestyle, including a cabana wing. No detail has been missed, including hand-painted murals on the walls and columns, a grand staircase and a well-appointed master suite and dressing room. The outdoor entertaining area provides a tropical paradise. The pool is surrounded by lush mature landscaping and is adjacent to an outdoor kitchen, a cabana and lounge area. There is a 70-foot concrete dock with a 22,000-pound boat lift and deep-water Atlantic Ocean access. The entire property is lushly landscaped – even the climbing ivy covering the front of the house is unique.

“Glass House”
Toni and Randall Wheeler
255 15th St., Key Colony Beach

This oceanfront, 5,000-square-foot, six-bedroom/six-bath single-family home was built in 2007 by John Grill. Toni, whose background is in social work and nursing, designed the home to accommodate her large family. Her husband owns an overseas shipping container depot. They are from Indiana. The home boasts a modern decor. The kitchen was done by a designer from Chicago. The high-gloss cabinetry reflects palm fronds, bringing the outdoors inside. The color scheme includes blues and aquamarine. There is beautiful glass decor everywhere, creating an endless palate of ocean colors. Floral designs would best be viewed on the coffee table in the living room or on the round dining table.

Lisa and Troy Lotane
125 Pirates Cove Dr., Stirrup Key

This modern coastal home had its interior completely renovated in 2020. The main level of the house has four bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms as well as an updated kitchen and living room. The master suite is upstairs and is complete with a kitchenette, wet room, TV room and two rooftop decks. The outside of the home has a tropical garden featuring many native Florida plants. A pool with hot tub, pickleball court and tiki hut were added to enhance the fun Florida Keys lifestyle. Lisa worked closely with her builder, Design Center, and worked her own decorating magic.
