Island Dogs Bar

Find the live music, great drinks, great food and an island vibe at Island Dogs Bar — located just off Front Street in Old Town. Bring your pooch up on the porch and hang with locals that come for the splendid cocktails.

A must try is the Key Lime Pie Martini— Absolut Vanilla, Malibu coconut rum, Ke Ke Beach Liquor, lime juice with a graham cracker rim. The Ke Ke liquor is made with key limes and blends harmoniously with the smooth Absolut vanilla flavor. The graham cracker finish gives the sensation of actually eating Key West’s signature dessert.

“It is a tasty drink and special to Island Dogs,” bartender Ben Woodall said.

Other dessert drinks are the Irish Coffee, Chocolate Martini and Double Espresso Martini.

Island Dogs has a lengthy list of mojitos, too. made with Tito’s vodka. Try the Malibu pineapple, Malibu mango, Malibu melon, Malibu coconut and the Island Dog Mojito — light rum, fresh mint, a splash of soda water and their special simple syrup.

Other specialty drinks are the Rum Runner, Orange Crush and Goombay Splash — tropical treats flavored with paradise. In addition to the cocktails, Island Dogs has a long list of brews and wines. It also features entertainment from Thursday through Saturday. Island Dogs is located on 505 Front St. and they are open everyday from 11 a.m. to 4 a.m.
