You’ve never had vegan food like this before. Seaside Eatery in Key Largo is offering up vegan food that’s satisfying all sorts of eaters. 

Owners Lyndsay Peterson and Thomas Caito opened Seaside Eatery about six months ago. They have lived in the Keys for some time and finally grew so disappointed at the lack of food options here that they decided to be the change they wanted to see in the Keys food industry. 

Their goal was to offer food that was thoughtfully crafted and uncompromising in its quality. They wanted to bring food that affected people in good ways and showed them that vegan food can be delicious. 

The TLT is made with sourdough, smoked maple glazed tofu, lettuce, tomato, shaved ted onions and mayo.

Almost everything they offer is made from scratch, including dressings, sauces, hummus and even their falafels. They grow an abundance of herbs and vegetables in their own garden at home and sustainably source everything else. As if that wasn’t impressive enough, the flavors and textures in their dishes are so well-balanced. And you can literally taste the freshness. They offer breakfast and boba teas, as well as a variety of sandwiches, salads and wraps. Lyndsay’s bahn mi sandwich and the Key limeade are very popular, along with the honey dew boba tea.

This little wonder is located adjacent to Coco Plum Place at MM 98. Their hours of operation are Wednesday through Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. They also offer take-out.
