Dolphins beat No. 1 team in final game before break

After beating the top team in Florida, Colonial Christian, 15-0 on March 13, the Marathon Dolphin varsity softball team’s record moved to 6-4 overall. “We don’t know if or when we will play again, but our last win was against the number one team in the state!!” said coach Kevin Freeman. Marathon was scheduled to play Miami’s Southridge High on Thursday, March 19. That game has been canceled due to the coronavirus outbreak. All sports and extracurricular activities are suspended until further notice.
