Tina Adkins owns and operates the Key West Beauty Academy on Kennedy Drive, which offers a full 18-month training program in hair, nails and cosmetology with day and evening classes so students can still work their full-time jobs while training for a new career.
Adkins is also launching a nonprofit Island Beauty Foundation to develop partnerships and raise money for scholarships, which the Key West Woman’s Club was proud to support as part of their commitment to the Key West community. CONTRIBUTED
