After winning their first two games, the Marathon varsity baseball team lost to Doctor’s Charter School at home on March 8. Coming into this season, the Dolphins are without eight of last year’s starters. “We knew we would be a young team this year,” said Coach Luis Leal. “All we can do is play hard and focus on controlling what we can, which is making plays and limiting mistakes. We have an excellent group of young men that work hard and make coming to the field fun every day.” Marathon’s next home game is April 12 against Sheridan Hills.
