A 44-year-old Spokane, Washington woman was arrested on March 14 after she allegedly fled from the Monroe County sheriff’s office on U.S. 1.
Just before 10 p.m., Key West Police contacted the sheriff’s office regarding a stolen Infinity sedan heading northbound out of the city. Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle near Mile Marker 47. The driver, later identified as Kayleen Katherine Kay Farman, fled.
The sedan’s tires were spiked and the vehicle stopped near U.S. 1 and 107th Street in Marathon. Farman was taken to jail. She faces charges of fleeing and eluding, resisting arrest, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and driving without a valid license.
Farman is facing additional criminal charges filed by the Key West Police Department.
