Annual celebration brings out big and small
Fishermen’s Hospital celebrated the season on Dec. 7 by inviting the community for an afternoon of fun. And when darkness fell, organizers flipped the switch on the tall tree of lights atop the hospital to a chorus of “oooooh’s” and “aaaahhhh’s.” There was dancing, cookies and much more at the holiday event.

JoAnn Schwartz and Katie Scott are just two of the pink ladies at Fishermen’s Hospital. The Hospital Auxiliary group provides important support for the community facility.
Relay for Life volunteers Maureen Holland and Cindy Widmaier sell raffle tickets to win gift baskets. Both ladies work at the hospital: Maureen is the RN house supervisor and Cindy is a radiation tech.
