Nothing shouts school pride like a homecoming parade. Ahead of the Oct. 9 football game, convertible cars with the homecoming court and Miss Coral Shores contestants, boats carrying football players and floats decorated by students to the various decades paraded up the Old Highway to a large crowd at Coral Shores High School on Oct. 9. Neighboring schools, including Plantation Key School and Key Largo School, joined in the procession, as did local dance programs. The parade was led by the Coral Shores marching band.
