George Thorogood rocks Key West

Legendary blues man George Thorogood, backed by his rowdy band of Destroyers, heated up a (relatively) cool night on March 8 in Key West.

Fans filled the Sunset Green Event Lawn for the show that featured classics such as “One Bourbon, One Scotch and One Beer,” along with “Who Do You Love?” and, of course, “Bad to the Bone.”

In a recent interview with The Weekly, Thorogood said, “I can’t sing, but you don’t have to be a great singer. If you can admit your limitations, then you know your strengths… People would rather have a really great song sung really badly than a really awful song sung really well.”

People at the Sunset Green seemed to enjoy both the singing and the songs performed by one of music’s most enduring performers.
