Just before 6:30 p.m. on April 20, the Florida Department of Health released the latest COVID-19 case count.

Case counts remain stable at 73, following an overnight increase by five cases on April 18. Investigations uncovered 21 are travel-related and 40 are community-spread cases. 12 cases are still currently under investigation. 35 are male, and 31 are female. There have been 11 hospitalizations (10 residents and one non-resident) and three deaths.

65 are residents and eight are non-residents. 35 are in Key West, 15 in Key Largo, six in Tavernier, five in Marathon, two in Islamorada, and one in each of Key Colony Beach, Summerland Key and Cudjoe Key.

The youngest person in the county to test positive is a 6-year-old child. Prior, the youngest person was 10-years old. The age range is six to 80, with a median age of 51.
