TAKE ME HOME: ALEX, A SWEET CAT WHOSE FAMILY GAVE HER UP

Alex is a beautiful and sweet female long-haired cat. She is 5 years old and loves to be petted. Alex gets along with other cats. She was surrendered by her family because they said she started peeing on everything. We took Alex in and saw she had blood in her urine and needed medical attention.

After Alex’s vet visit we learned she has a urinary problem and a UTI. We gave her the medication she needed and switched her to a new diet and it has helped her.  She is looking for a forever home with someone that is willing to help her with her condition and continue to keep her on a prescription diet.

If you would like to make Alex a part of your family, or to learn more about other pets available for adoption, give UKHS a call at 305-451-3848. UKHS is a not-for-profit no-kill shelter that provides food, shelter, medical care and adoption services for unwanted and abandoned animals.
