Sheriff Rick Ramsay was on hand Thursday as Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Key West Police Department, and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officials removed a 9-foot, dead crocodile from U.S. 1 near U.S. Naval Air Station Key West. The crocodile appeared to have been struck by a vehicle.
