CHRISTMAS IS COMING TO KEY WEST

George Fernandez and Sam Trophia, who own the Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory, launched the holiday wreath initiative a few years ago, when they noticed how “tired” looking the city’s holiday decorations were. Christmas is coming. Crews from the city’s Community Services department began on Nov. 17 installing holiday decorations at Mallory Square and throughout the city. Decoration include wreaths around the lights at Mallory Square as well as along Duval Street and Truman Avenue.
